What is MFPC?

A place for professionals serving military and veteran families to learn from one another.

The Military Financial Professionals Community of Practice (MFPC) is a private professional community sponsored by The Military Financial Readiness Objective.

More than 150 financial professionals come together to share knowledge, ask questions, seek mentorship, and learn from colleagues across disciplines.

Financial planners, advisors, counselors, coaches, tax professionals, and other specialists each bring different expertise to the financial challenges facing military and veteran families. MFPC gives those professionals a place to learn from one another and strengthen the collective expertise available to the military community.

A Community Built for Learning

Personal finance is complex, and military and veteran benefits are vast and continually evolving. Financial professionals do not need to know everything. They need a trusted place to ask questions and colleagues willing to share what they know.

MFPC is intentionally private and professionally focused. The community is free from advertising, vendor solicitation, and the political and social commentary common on public social media platforms. Conversations stay focused on professional learning, collaboration, and serving military and veteran families.

That environment gives members the freedom to ask questions, exchange ideas, seek mentorship, and learn from specialists across disciplines without worrying about selling, self-promotion, or the distractions of a public social network.

Is This Community For Me?

MFPC is for financial professionals who serve, or want to better serve, military members, veterans, and their families.

The community includes financial planners and advisors, financial counselors and coaches, tax professionals, educators, military benefits specialists, and professionals from other related disciplines.

Members of the Military Financial Advisors Association (MFAA), Military Qualified Financial Planner (MQFP®) community, and Military Tax Experts Alliance (MTEA) participate alongside other professionals who bring valuable knowledge and experience to the community.

You do not need to be an expert in military financial issues to participate. Curiosity, professionalism, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to helping military and veteran families are what make the Community of Practice work.

Join The Community

Financial professionals who share MFPC's commitment to learning, collaboration, and better serving military and veteran families are welcome to request guest access to the community.

Guest access is free for 60 days, giving you an opportunity to explore the community, participate in discussions, and determine whether MFPC is valuable to your professional work.

After the guest period, professionals who wish to remain in the community may continue their participation for $50 per year through the Military Financial Advisors Association (MFAA).
